LEARNING INTENTIONS: To use the elements of art (line, form, space, shape, colour, and tone), pastels, and proportions in creating a self-portrait using a 'PICASSO-LIKE' style


REFLECTIONS: What did I learn? I learned that Picasso is a beautiful way to draw, the amount of colours are wonderful and I really enjoyed using all of the pastels. I learned how things don't have to be normal to be beautiful, abstract is a great form of art too! Another thing I learned is not to always use straight lines, to use true abstract. I also learned that messy things also look good, and when you make mistakes in abstract it looks even better, like how I messed up on the orange part of my face, and I ended up liking it! I love all of the bright colours we got to use, but what I didn't like was how I was the only one who liked doing the whole body, it looks better to me this way, either way I loved doing this project and I hope all my classmates did to!
